Texas Lawyer/AttorneyTexas State Requirement Details for Lawyer/Attorney in Continuing EducationSee Course Listings: https://www.connectclassroom.com/states/tx/?profession=attorney Active members of the State Bar must complete a minimum of 15.00 hours (3.00 hours of which must be in ethics) of continuing legal education (CLE) every compliance year. At least 12.00 of the total 15.00 hours must be accredited CLE. The remainder can be fulfilled through self-study. All 15.00 hours may be completed through online learning. There is no in-person CLE requirement. MCLE credits, including self-study, can be reported online on the attorney’s My Bar Page account at www.texasbar.com. A maximum of 3.00 hours (including 1.00 hour of ethics) of the 15.00 hours can be fulfilled through self-study. Self-study credit includes reading legal, peer-reviewed publications, or attending non-accredited CLE activities.

Texas AppraiserTexas State Requirement Details for Appraiser in Continuing EducationSee Course Listings: https://www.connectclassroom.com/states/tx/?profession=appraiser As a Licensed Residential Appraiser, you must renew your license every two years. A renewal notice will be sent out about 90 days before your expiration date. You may renew your license up to six months after the expiration date. After six months, you may apply for reinstatement of your license. Complete 28 hours of approved appraiser continuing education (ACE) courses during the two year license period, which must include a 7 hour National USPAP Update course. Use the ACE Course search tool to see a list of currently approved providers and courses. After completing your course work, you are welcome to submit a course evaluation.
